Olive needs emergency surgery

Olive came into the SPCA Montreal on Nov 30 2011 with her 7 brothers and sisters and her mother Sabrina.
They were not the healthiest of puppies. Olive was the smallest of the bunch. She was very unhealthy weighing only 3.14 pounds at 6 weeks of age.
As Olive grew we noticed she had a limp in her back left leg after she played or went running, but it would go away within 12 hours so we never thought too much of it.
Olive is now 5-1/2 years old and she has completely torn CCL (cranial cruciate ligament) and she now requires urgent TPLO surgery.
The surgery including all follow-ups, medication, x-rays cost a total of $4400 including tax. The surgery will be done at the Montreal DMV by Dr. Plante.
We are not able to afford this surgery in such a short amount of time (to be done within 1 week). We made a promise to Olive the day we took her home that we would protect her in every way we can.
Olive is our 2 year old sons best friend. She came from such a negative environment and now lives happily with our other dogs and children.
She means the world to us and our family.
Olive is a Pitbull ambassador. She changes peoples minds.
