OJ’s surgery
I created this account on behalf of OJ’s
mum (my childhood friend). Thank you for
your kind donation.
Please find below OJ’s mum’s post:
In February, my favourite daughter, Oluwateniola Josephine, came home on a one-week break.
She walked towards me and I noticed that one hip was more pronounced and higher than the other.
Loads of tests later, the diagnosis was idiopathic adolescent scoliosis.
She’s in severe pain 5-6 days out of 7!
She’s been scheduled for corrective surgery this November at the cost of N7,948,000.
It is notable that through this fog of pain, OJ made 284 in her UTME, A1 in Maths, Further Maths, & Physics, and 26/30 in her Post-UTME.
She’s been offered admission to read Architecture in Unilag.
I’m here cap-in-hand to beg for help.
Don’t look at the size of the elephant - together, we can eat it one bite at a time.
Thank you,
OJ’s mom
