Ohlone School overnight field trip

Ohlone Elementary School is located in Hercules, CA in the SF Bay Area. The 5th grade teachers, Misuk Nam and Joseph Eyres, are trying to rekindle a long-standing tradition of going on an overnight study trip to the Marin Headlands.
Money raised for this trip will go towards tuition for both classes, and bus fare, for an overnight stay in NatureBridge's bunkhouses, cafeteria meals, and chaperoned nature study hikes. Any extra monies raised will go towards STEM activity materials and books for classroom libraries.
This overnight trip is a tradition that students throughout the grades look forward to. For some, it will be their first trip to the ocean, or their first overnight away from family.
We teachers are tremendously thankful for the parents at Ohlone- for the time they invest in their children, for the activities they organize, and for the opportunities they create. We hope that the gofundme fund-raiser will take some of the burden off the parents so they can have more time to spend with their kids.
