Oak Grove UMC Belize Mission 2016

Donation protected
Oak Grove United Methodist Church is sending young adults to go serve the people of Belize this summer. Our main projects include construction on the Belmopan Methodist High School, Marla's house of hope, and a technology initiative.

Less than 50% of high school aged children can attend high school in Belize due to the lack of space in the schools. That is why we are sending funds and manpower to help change this statistic!

Marla's House of Hope is a home for physically, verbally, sexually, and spiritually abused girls. We are going to Marla's to spread the love of God and to provide materials for them to use with this hurting young women.

Finally, our technology initiative is a project we started last year to create a way for the school and the church to be connected. We wanted them to have a way to explore what can be used with technology so that they are more prepared to enter into the job world sooner rather than later.

As you can see, we have a lot of great projects we are trying to complete May 29-June 6. To complete all of them, we need your help! Please consider donating to this trip so we can help as many people in Belize as possible! Thank you for your unending support!
