Bennett Academy Of The Performing Arts is a specialized performing arts school, that caters to the aspiring artist, singer and actor. Since it's inception in 1996, the academy has successfully taught thousands of aspiring musicians, actors and singers. We are currently in production of our Off Broadway musical The King Of The Rodeo and we are looking to raise funds in order to pay our Lighting And Sound Technicians, Set Designer, our Director, Assistant Director, our Cameramen and photographers, the Native American Dance Troupe and professional guest artists and actors, and to purchase our costumes. We would also use the funds for advertising and marketing this great musical.
We have a talented group of local composers, singers who will make the music come to life and our student actors who are working hard to bring the touching story of Jake Jessup, The King Of The Rodeo to life. The story mirrors that of the biblical Joseph, where Jake, a gifted bull rider has to contend with three evil jealous sisters, a doting but demanding father, forbidden love with a Lakota girl, and tries to hold on to the world he holds dear.
It's a story of love, laughter, forgiveness, family and the age old battle between good and evil.
The King Of The Rodeo makes its debut June 24-25, 2017 at the beautiful John Cullum Theater, Off Broadway , housed at the American Theater of Actors
Our students, musicians and aspiring filmmakers need your support.
