My Pocket Project Fundraiser

Dear Human Family,

I need your help.  I am following a call to serve in the integration of our collective and intergenerational trauma. Next month, I will be traveling to Israel to train in this capacity with my teacher, Thomas Hübl. This is the first leadership training of its kind, furthering the work of the newly established non-profit, the Pocket Project . 

Through the program we will begin to expand our capacity to hold a higher state of conscious awareness, presence and embodiment within a traumatized field.  We will come to understand the mechanisms of collective trauma, further our energetic competency in healing and integration, and develop leadership skills in large scale 'shadow' processes. 

This moment in our collective carries a profound evolutionary pressure.  As the Truth in our hearts expands we can taste a new possibility of being together, a growing human potential. This creates a friction between our inner and outer reality, as our hearts meet a  world that continues to oppress its people and an environment withering in our lack of coherence. There is a longing to be available for conscious evolution.

Einstein said, “We cannot solve a problem from the same level of thinking that created it.”

What does it mean to rise to a new level of 'thinking' in order to solve our global dilemmas? For me, it means that while we continue to actively participate in life, it is not enough to address issues at the level of an existing infrastructure. In the United States, for example, one need only look at the privatized prison system to see that institutional slavery is still very much an integral part of American life. What if we were able to presence this energetic field consciously, in a way that will surface and care for the traumatized energy of slavery, healing the 'symptoms' at the root level?  Feel into this possibility with me...   This is RADICAL.

Beginning in June, participants from all over the world (37 different countries!) will be traveling to Israel to explore collective trauma integration and address the major issues in their 'pocket' of the planet- war, genocide, enslavement- with complete humility and surrender. We will be in Israel for two reasons:  First,  this is the home of Thomas Hübl, our teacher, and his family.   Second, this is a 'hot' zone on the planet, where we may readily tap into an active energy within a traumatized field.

Personally, I have a real interest in exploring the role of the performing arts in this arena (theater, music, dance, poetry, ritual). During the training I will be researching within the field of the pocket project and alongside communities of artists that serve as activists/healers . This is really exciting to me! I will be documenting my insights throughout the year in monthly videos. After the training, we will initiate and support a 'pocket', continuing to be available to this integration.

Here is a breakdown of my expenses this year:

-Training Cost: $1,600 for the year

-Two Flights to Israel (approximately): $2,000

-Accommodations in Israel during retreat: $800
