OCSA Jazz A-Essentially Ellington

Let me introduce you to the OCSA Jazz A Big Band.  These talented HS students have been named as one of the 15 finalists in the 22nd Annual Essentially Ellington Competition & Festival, to be held in NYC on May 11-13, 2017.  Please use the link below to read the official press release:

This prestigious event is held every year at Lincoln Center in New York City and we are extremely proud of their accomplishments.  The group has worked very hard to qualify for this event and as they prepare to compete against some of the stiffest competition yet, the parents are busy trying to raise money to get the entire band to NYC for this once in a lifetime experience.  As you can only imagine, the cost to transport and lodge the entire band and their instruments is costly and it will take at least 25K to make it happen.  

Please consider making a donation to the Jazz Band and help them achieve a goal only a few ever get to experience.  Any and every donation counts, no amount is too small and every dollar will be greatly appreciated.
