Hi, I'm Brogan I am 4 years old.
I'm a very happy a cheeky boy who loves to laugh and smile :)
I have Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy and Periventircular Leukomalacia. Due to my disability my strong muscles over compensate for my weaker muscles making it hard for me to achieve the simple things most people take for granted like sitting up, feeding myself and most importantly walking. My balance and coordination are also affected making these simple tasks even harder.
I would love to be independent just like my siblings and friends, which I know isn't going to be an easy task. So this is where I need your help.....
I've just started a therapy called Therasuit and Spider Therapy which is tailored to each child's needs to ensure maximum benefits for each child. Spider therapy focuses on the development of fundamental movements and strengthening the muscles.
Along side this I'm also being given functional electrical stimulation in my left arm and in the future I will also receive it in my left foot. This treatment uses small electric charges to improve mobility. It applies stimulation on nerves and muscles to strengthen the muscles.
As you can imagine this type of therapy isn't cheap and is not funded by the NHS.
We we are doing 2 hour block sessions which costs between £45-£75 an hour.
We understand everyone has their own lives and families and I would just like to thank you for reading this and for your continued support :)

Seriously can't thank all the friends, family, friends of friends and complete strangers who have donated so far, you are all truly amazing and have massive hearts :)
Each and everyone of you are contributing to making Brogans quality of life a much better one by helping us peruse this venture.
