Oakley needs our help

This past Saturday Cj and I went to the park to hit batting practice and of course took Oakley along with us. Later that night Oakley began to not be himself at all. He wanted nothing to do with his food or water, all he wanted to do was lay down and sleep. As hours went on it began to get worse. Oakley began to vomit, when I took him outside to go potty nothing but liquid from both ends. Thinking maybe he just got into something that made his tummy upset, we kept a close eye on him. On Monday I took him to the vet, I was there for maybe 5-10 minutes and they sent me home with amoxicillin and a stool hardener. I didn’t see any improvement. So we decided to take Oakley to the emergency animal hospital, after waiting 3 hours to be seen, with his signs and symptoms they tested for parvo virus. With our fingers crossed and praying it wasn’t, the test came back positive. (How could the vet not have done anything more when we went the first time!? Why didn’t they look into it further!? I paid for examination and medication for nothing!!) The staff wanted $1500 to keep Oakley hospitalized for 3-5 days, but it was out of question, we don’t have kind of money. Oakley is a great puppy, he is so well behaved, the sweetest boy ever! He doesn’t deserve this! He deserves to be happy and healthy, running around having fun. He has been the perfect addition to our family.
