Kalli's New Smile
Kalli has been asking for some time now, "When will my smile look like yours?" She at times tells us she will get a bigger smile when she "grows up." As parents, we didin't know if that was ever possible. Until now!
We have met with a doctor who believes he can help Kalli- with a 95% success rate in past proceedures! It is a two-surgery process that we would have to travel to Los Angeles for. We are asking for your help and prayers in reaching this goal for our daughter, and to give her the smile she deserves to match the personality she has!
I myself have facial paralysis. .. not due to a stroke but another rare condition. I spend much of my childhood wondering when my smile would go back to "normal". I still have facial paralysis but now accept it as part of who I am and it certainly has not stopped me from great accomplishments :-) I will pray for a successful surgery but just know that you can become a strong women even if it doesn't work as well as hoped.
Can't wait to see you on TV Kalli! Hope you're doing well!
Kalli - you are beautiful and I hope your new smile helps you communicate this to those who cannot already see that! My daughter, Aanyah, was also born prematurely at 32 weeks and 2 lbs 11 oz. Like you, she also suffered a stroke which has left her with mild cerebral palsy. It is difficult to be different, but I can tell from your story that you, like my daughter, are a fighter and will not let this get you down!
Call the Shrine . . . they have history of treating similar conditions. Local Phone # is 343-0571. $ figure will be much better.
Sharing this everywhere, as well as praying for you guys :) I truly hope this works for you, Kalli is such a sweetheart.
This is AMAZING NEWS! Prayers for Kalli's new smile ❤
