Sasha heartworm treatment & escape!
UPDATED AFTER TREATMENT QUOTE: thank you so much for helping me reach the initial goal. After leaving the vet today I realize the initial goal only covers her treatment. It does not cover her health certifications or medications.

Over a month ago I went into the shelter with my sister because she wanted a dog. I met Sasha, who was heartworm positive and donated towards her treatment in hopes she would find a loving home if someone sponsored her. Well, all I got was exploited for my good nature and a call that Sasha was set for euthanasia TODAY! I picked up Sasha yesterday, but was not given back my donation, so while I am always happy to donate to a shelter, I still need money to treat Sasha! Because I am leaving on the 22nd I cannot stay for the 3 month treatment provided by GCAC. I will be taking her in tomorrow for the quickest treatment option, a back to back injection with 24 hours between shots and will pick her and the bill up Friday.
Also, because she is undeniably a pitbull the ONLY way to fly her to Alaska is as an Emotional Support Animal.
The second to last thing I would ever want to do is ask people for money.
The last thing I would want to do is let this girl be put down.
Her shelter paperwork listed her date of birth as 11/12/15. So we will go with it, consider any donation a birthday present for this pup. Also, if you are interested in Sasha & could provide her a good loving home here in the south east please contact me. Otherwise, Sasha and I are flying to Alaska in hopes she stands a better chance there.
