Hula Festival Expenses
Tax deductible
Aloha, We are a cultural and service organization from the San Francisco Bay Area, and are dedicated to the Hawaiian art of the hula and sharing the spirit of aloha through community service. Part of our mission statement is to perpetuate and preserve the Hawaiian culture, to be stewards of aloha, to lead by example, and to settle for nothing less than their our personal best in all aspects of our life.
In the coming months we will be sharing performances at two of the largest hula festivals outside of the state of Hawaiʻi. The E Hula Mau Hawaiian Hula and Chant Festival in Long Beach, California and the Iā ʻOe E Ka Lā Hula Festival in Pleasanton, California.
We will share performances in both ancient and modern styles of hula as well as oli (non-dance chant), and ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language). We now need your kōkua (help), and kākoʻo (support) to help us in our fundraising efforts to off set the expenses for our fresh adornments, as well as the fees and travel expenses for our musicians coming from Hawaiʻi.
Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated!
