R.V. Burke Memorial

On Friday December 2nd, 2016, our beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Ralland Virgil (R.V.) Burke, tragically passed away.

R.V. was born Aug. 19, 1972, in Butte, Montana, but spent most of his life in Idaho. He worked in construction for much of his life, and had recently started his own construction business.

He loved football and was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. He was convinced this was their SuperBowl year.

He was an amazing father, and loved his kids with all his heart. All it took to make him happy was to surround him with people. He loved people so much though, that it didn't even have to be his friends that surround him, because he'd make friends out of strangers in no time. He was the type of friend you hope to have, and the kind of guy you could call whenever you need help.

He is survived by his four children Weston (22), Josey (19), Maddux (12), and Jade (10), all of which are understandably reeling. Almost all deaths are unexpected, but the nature of this one has left the children entirely unprepared. As many of us know, they are facing significant funeral expenses.

With all the stress and pain these children are undergoing, many of us have asked what we can do to help. This is where we can come together, and truly help these kids. Taking the stress of the financial burden off the children will allow them to hold proper services, and allow them to focus on their father without worrying about finances. Every little bit helps, and if every person donated just $5 we could easily reach the goal. The funds will go directly to the two oldest children Weston and Josey to pay the funeral expenses.

There is not much that anyone can do or say to ease their pain, but this may at least grant them some comfort in this difficult time. We would also ask that you share and spread this. The family thanks you in advance, and is very grateful for your kindness.
