Our good friend Tj and her family have been through an awful year and we are hoping to provide some financial relief for them.
Tjanara is a young mum to three gorgeous girls, Rosa and twins, Eva and Layla.
The family business was damaged due to the fires in Canberra City last February and subsequently closed for 6 months to be repaired.
They didn't let the fire bring them down and have been working so hard to build the business back up.
Last month their house was broken into, trashed and many precious belonging taken. They were left feeling down and out but grateful that no one was hurt.
Then the blows kept coming.
Tjanaras husband, Raed, was made redundant with out any warning and left wondering how he would support his wife and three daughters.
Tjanara has also decided to be brave and shave this month to show her support for those suffering or have suffered with cancer. She is raising money to go towards the foundation. This just shows she always puts others before herself, she is such a kind hearted, giving person which is why we'd like to give something back to her and her family.
Just when they thought things couldn't get worse, TJ had some MRI results confirm that she had a serious neurological disorder called Chiari Malformation and a linked disorder, Syringomyelia.
Since her twins were born TJ has been suffering through awful symptoms like severe headaches, nausea, dizziness, tinnitus, tingling in the arms/feet, blacking out and many, many more.
She has been told that she will need to have brain surgery in the next two months otherwise symptoms will continue to get worse. The longer they leave surgery the higher the risk of nerve damage that may not be reversible becomes.
The cost of this surgery is just over $10,000. We would love to help Tj get into surgery as soon as possible so she can get back to being the best mum she can be to her girls.
