This is a really difficult thing for me to do, ask for help. Especially financial help. I have always been super independent and take pride in being self sufficient. My husband and I are experiencing some strains of bad luck at this moment in time. Since the beginning of this year we have been trying to launch our CBD business off the ground. We were supposed to have our grand opening sometime this week but instead we got a nice stay in RWJ hospital in New Brunswick New Jersey.

Let me start with what happened just only a few weeks prior to this. We had two cars and Rob started driving for lyft and was making decent enough money to sustain us through our monthly bills. Fast forward to one night on his way home, the car he was using engine blew out.  We didn’t have money to fix that car right away so we decided to wait and save the money.

We had to come up with a quick solution so I suggested he use my brand new 2014 Nissan Altima so we could keep the money flow going. Only just about a week and a half later a deer charged the car while he was on the way home from a long night of work. All these “bumps” and “hiccups” have been very trying but we have been pushing through.

His parents were were so gracious enough to let us borrow/use their car for the time being so we could keep the money flow going. On top of all of that Geico was refusing to cover the claim for the Altima. We had to file a complaint against them using the N.J. department of insurance.

On Halloween, we got word from Geico they just needed a few forms to go ahead and cover the claim! Yay! But it doesn’t stop there. Just only exactly a week after the deer charged the car, Rob (my husband) suffered a serious seizure while he was in the New Brunswick area. He got out of the car thinking some fresh air may help him get his head right. He had blurry vision and depth perception was off.

While he got out of the car he went to stretch his arms and legs after a long night of driving and then next thing he knows, he wakes up in a pool of blood on the sidewalk. (We have the shorts and t shirt for evidence. Yikes.)

He ends up driving himself to RWJ hospital and admits himself to the emergency department. Thy run all sorts of tests and MRIs and come to find out he has a lesion on his brain. Just got word this morning that he has to undergo brain surgery to remove this lesion. While the Dr. said recovery time is usually only a few days believe it or not, he could expense trouble and weakness on the left side of his body.

They also said it’s possible that he will not be able to drive within the next 6 months. I don’t know what to do at this moment in time. I’m just asking for help because I have no other option at this moment. I’m supposed to start work on the 8th but the job holds my pay for 30 days. I can’t go without pay for 30 days never mind 15 days.

If if you could find it in your heart to donate anything, it doesn’t matter how small or big. Whatever compels you. We appreciate any and all of whatever comes our way. I just need enough to cover the end of last months bills and this months into the beginning of next month.

I am completely at a loss s for words and..they say to ask for help when you really need it. I think we really need it this time. This is a lot for me to do. So thank you to anyone who has gone ahead and read this whole story. Thank you for your support and even if you can’t donate, thanks for being a listening ear. We appreciate all of you and love you all. Thank you again.  Peyton just wants her daddy to come home.
