Norma is our mother and she has put literally every living creature ahead of herself her entire life. Every stray animal was fed by her hands. Every child who grew up in our hometown, Coyle, OK, knew mom because she worked at the town store and loved everyone ! Her passion was always caring for those who couldn't care for themselves, whether it be human or animal and she would still be in the ER saving lives, as an RN, if this hadn't stopped her
Last week we received the news nobody wants to hear. Mom has stage 3b inoperable pancreatic cancer. Due to this diagnosis she was forced into retirement before she had her Medicare and Social Security benefits start. Therefore, her biopsy procedure had to be paid out of pocket as well as, all chemotherapy appointments scheduled until her benefits kick in.
Our mom is, and always will be, my hero. She raised 4 girls without any help and never asked for it. She "made it work". Even now she says "she will make it work and not to worry". But today I'm asking for help for my loving mother. Any and all donations to help this beautiful soul will be so appreciated!
