Norman's Perineal Urethrostomy Surgery

Last night we couldn't find our much loved cat, Norman, and this morning we started to get worried as he was nowhere to be found. Around 11:00 this morning we heard noise outside and found him soaking wet on our porch not moving. We rushed him to the emergency vet and found out he had dragged himself home in the rain to get back to us and was suffering from a bladder obstruction. After bloodwork, xrays and labs the Vet told us he has a narrow urethra and that surgery is the best option. We have credit to pay for emergency treatment that gives him a chance but surgery will be needed. He is at Hartwood Animal Hospital for the next 4 days with a catheter and antibiotics, a bill so far totaling $1,196, but there is no gurantee he will make it without surgery. We only got $200 approved for care credit. We need $2,500 for perineal urethrostomy surgery. It's not "just a cat". He's a member of our family and we need help for Norman. Please.  Anything helps. This year, Oscar died in April. We can't bear to lose our Norman too.
