In July of 2019, we will be rowing from Ibiza to Barcelona to raise money for the NOMAN campaign. It will be, by far, the hardest physical challenge that either of us has ever taken on; 200 miles of non-stop rowing in the mid-summer sun while battling sea-sickness, salt sores and fatigue. We have been training hard for the past five months and are starting to feel physically ready for the event, but we can't do it without your support.

The NOMAN campaign is an initiative to fight against HPV, the causal agent of 5% of all cancers. The campaign seeks to beat HPV through universal vaccination for girls and for boys, who have historically not been vaccinated.  They are also working beyond prevention, to accelerate drug development for patients with advanced HPV-related cancer.

The foundation has been at the forefront of the global fight against HPV-related cancers and has seen some major breakthroughs since its foundation in 2013. The number of countries vaccinating boys against HPV has gone from 0 to 25  and the Foundation has raised more than $3mn, but their work is far from over.

We are rowing to raise money for the NOMAN campaign and to spread awareness of the fantastic work they are doing. Any and all support is sincerely appreciated, especially as the challenge gets closer and more real.

If you are interested in helping us out, please donate and share this with your friends. Have a look at to learn some more about the organisation and their various initiatives. There will also be a GPS tracker on there when the race begins, from July 29th, so you can see how we are doing.

Thank you very much for your support.

How it Works
  1. You are donating to PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity (No. 1110538), which will email you a receipt for your donation and claim Gift Aid where eligible.
  2. GoFundMe’s platform is free. The charity will typically receive the funds from PayPal Giving Fund within 15-45 days of your donation if the charity has enrolled (or 90 days if the charity has not yet enrolled). Unlike other platforms, 100% of any Gift Aid will go to the charity as well.
* In very limited cases, a recommended charity may cease to meet PayPal Giving Fund's legal or other eligibility requirements. In such cases, PayPal Giving Fund will reassign the funds to a similar charity, and (wherever possible) seek a new recommendation from donors.
