My name is Megan Dunbar and I am a fine art photographer currently residing in Charlotte, NC. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2015 receiving a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in Studio Art Photography with Magna Cum Laude Honors. Upon receiving my degree I moved to Charlotte to further pursue my fine art career focusing on the use of medium format film photography in a double as well as single exposure style.
I have always been drawn to something further in my photographic passions, which is what drives me to the vast horizons of the natural landscape. I hope to extend this photographic preservation to different landscapes throughout the United States. Thus, I will be embarking on a nomadic photographic quest traveling to multiple National Parks, forests and landmarks with goals to preserve photographically the beauty and multi-faceted ecosystems throughout America.
The encompassing goal of the work towards finalization will become a book but before that will travel around the U.S. with myself on an exhibition tour.
So, I am calling all my loyal friends, family and followers to help me. Any dollar amount helps with my cause to complete this series that is so monumental to my career. The funds raised will help assist me with travel costs including gas, food, film and other emergency situations that will come up while on the road.
As stated any increment is appreciated but I will be doing a special incentive for those that are willing to donate certain amounts listed below,
$1,000 a framed print of their choice from the series sized at 24"x24."
$500 a framed print of their choice from the series sized at 20"x20"
$100 a framed print of their choice from the series sized at 9"x9"
$50 an unframed print of their choice from the series sized at 9"x9"
$25 a framed print of their choice from the series sized at 5"x5"
$10 an unframed print of their choice from the series sized at 5"x5"
