Hello, my name is Joseph Mitchell and I am the head trainer at New Orleans Rise Academy. New Orleans Rise Academy, is an all year fundamental basketball skill development training academy for beginner and elite athletes at an affordable price . Emphasis on affordable price. People often have the perception that personal basketball training is for the rich and well off. It is my goal to shatter that. I want to be able to train any youth that wants to get better at the game of basketball.
New Orleans is a city where its easy for a youth to go down the wrong path. But with our brand of skill development we don't just train basketball players to be athletes we train them to be good young men and women, through drills that are designed to make them persevere when times get hard. We believe that our brand of Skill development will not only make better basketball players but develop leaders in their community and on their teams.
On March 21st we are hosting a Free camp to the community at the local YMCA to gain awareness for our new business. We werent expecting a big of a turn out that we have seem to be getting sign ups are constantly going up. And in order to not turn anyone away will we will need your help.
The reason I am humbly coming to the gofundme community is in order for us to make better basketball players and better youth, we need the funds for equipment and to cover gym rental.
We know money is valuable these days and if we didn't believe in our mission of transforming lives through the game of basketball trust me I wouldn't dare ask you. But because we believe in our mission and our desire to give back, we graciously and humbly ask for your help. Thank you for your time and your ear.
