NOLA Nature Bus

In September, NOLA Nature School will expand its programming. We're offering Saturday classes for 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds and launching our full day preschool! We're campaigning for a school bus that we'll use as a classroom space. The school bus will hold materials like reference books, scientific instruments, and computers as well as children's outdoor gear. The bus will also be a safe, comfortable place to wait out any thunderstorms of the sort that like to pop up during the afternoons in the springtime.
Our program launches in September, and we're asking for $3,000. We've found a bus for $3,900 and given the success of our programs so far are able to confidently say that that amount will allow us to purchase and begin renovating the bus.
We are excited to help the children extend their knowledge of the natural world and to have another cool space to call their own!
