Who We Are
The Noise Ensemble (@noiseenyc) celebrates noise's ability to enliven our everyday. Taking our inspiration from noise, we share the music that we love, that we find beautiful, and that enlivens our own everyday in intimate and deeply meaningful ways. We believe that doing so will in turn enliven our local communities, integrating classical music back into its rightful place: everywhere.

What We Are Doing
In this three-part concert series at Columbia University's Earl Hall, we perform music we love exploring the divine.
1. Part one (March 1 at 6 pm) is dedicated to divine hope, perhaps needed now more than ever. We are performing an exquisite piece of music by GF Handel (The Ways of Zion Do Mourn) mourning the death of a beloved queen, commemorating a grieving nation, and evoking hope for a brighter future.
2. Part two (April 5 at 6 pm) is dedicated to divine love. We are performing works by JS Bach (Cantata BWV 10) and A Vivaldi (Gloria) evoking the joy, fear, and ecstasy that accompany divine love, plain and simple.
3. Part three (June 4 at noon) is dedicated to divine beauty. We will be performing some of the simplest yet paradoxically intricate expressions of divine beauty from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
Why We Need Your Help!
All of the money we are raising will be used to pay the highly talented and dedicated musicians performing in this concert and to ensure that we can continue to share the music we love with people that we love.
As a small and relatively new ensemble, we and our efforts are heavily reliant on the generosity of supporters like you. All donors here will be recognized on our website, on our social media, and in our program as investing in the future of our ensemble and the future of music more broadly.
We are deeply grateful for any support - big or small - that you can provide today! Thank you for taking the time to read this!
