Noah Hersom Medical Expenses

Over the past week our family has experienced a roller coaster of emotions surrounding the health of Felicia and Jesse’s son, Noah. He was admitted to EMMC last Monday with RSV. He also developed pneumonia on top of this. Late Tuesday afternoon, he was transferred to PICU as he was having trouble maintaining his oxygen level despite high flow oxygen and he eventually needed continuous nebulizer treatments over the following days. We had seen some improvement over the next couple days and saw just how resilient this boy is, from offering his arm up for temperature checks with nurses or sticking that arm up for phlebotomists for lab draws without complaint. This morning after a repeat chest x-ray it was noted that Noah had developed a pneumothorax (air outside of the lung) and would need intubation and a chest tube placed to support him and provide some rest for him. We are so grateful for the community of people that have surrounded us with prayer for this boy. God has a plan through all of this and it is so powerful for us to all come together in prayer for Noah, Felicia, and Jesse. We ask God for strength through this trial for their sake. 


We ask for anyone to consider supporting this family financially through this time. As many know, Noah was born at 30 weeks and spent 46 days in the NICU at EMMC as well. These long hospital stays put a huge burden financially on their family. This GoFundMe will go directly to helping pay for these medical expenses that Felicia and Jesse face for years to come.
