Noah Lantaff's Family Relief Fund

Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Jaime Morin and I am the school nurse for Jacques Memorial Elementary School in Milford, NH.   I am also fortunate to know one of my first grade students, Noah Lantaff and his family closely.

Noah began as a kindergartner here in 2017 as he was battling ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia).

He would attend school around his treatments & appointments at Boston Children's Hospital. At times a visiting nurse would come to school to draw blood.  It was easy to see the courageous nature of this young boy.  In June of 2018, his leukemia was in remission. Due to the extensive side effects of the chemotherapy, Noah was found to have bone loss and neuropathy that left him unable to ambulate independently.
Noah began first grade in the fall of 2018.  His younger sister Faith started as a kindergartner at our school.
Noah worked through the summer and fall months doing pool exercises and physical therapy. On November 5th 2018, his family watch him walk a few steps without any assist.  The first time in over a year! Noah was making great progress.

At the beginning of school February vacation, Noah went to the hospital for evaluation of a fever and some small bruises appearing.  On February 24th, the Lantaff family was given devastating news; Noah's leukemia had relapsed.  Since that day, Noah has been back at Boston Children's Hospital receiving high doses of chemotherapy and blood transfusions.   He is currently waiting for a match for him to be able to have a bone marrow transplant.

As you can imagine, this has been devastating for the whole family; emotionally and financially.  Noah's mom Morgan stays at the hospital with him.  Noah's dad Steven has taken leave from work in order to be there for Faith before and after school.  While she is in school he drives down to be with Noah and Morgan.  Faith goes down on weekends with her dad so they can spend time as a family.  Noah is facing months of treatment at the hospital followed by a year or more of recovery.  Understandably, Noah has had times of feeling depressed being back at the hospital.  He misses home, school and his friends.  Noah's favorite things are Disney World, Venom, Minions, playing with Legos, playing Monopoly, reading Dogman books,  and playing Mario and Minecraft.

Your funds, so graciously donated to Noah's Leukemia Fund, will help ease the financial burden of the family.   It will help with phone bills, travel, and medical expenses.  Love  and prayers are always welcome and appreciated.  If you are interested in registering to see if you could be a bone marrow match please register at https://bethematch.org/   .  Noah has a blood type that is more rare (O negative).  We are currently in contact with Boston Children's Bloodmobile to set up a donation day.  More info will be posted here as it is set up.
