No One Fights Alone- Dan Langlois Cancer Fund

For those of you who don't know my parents, they are the most kind, hard working, thoughtful, caring people in the world. They’d give the shirt off their back for any family member, friend or even stranger, to help them out in a time of need. I watched them do this throughout my entire life, and they never once expected anything in return. They did it because they care and genuinely love to help others.

Last month my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We were leaving the hospital after meeting my sweet little niece, and I just so happened to ask how his Dr.’s appointment went. He looked at me with tears in his eyes and said they think it’s cancer. I stopped dead in my tracks and couldn’t believe what I had heard. I thought he was joking with me, until I looked at my husband who was clearly very upset. Instantly, our whole families life flipped upside down. After weeks of feeling very ill, tests, and appointments, he finally gets to start chemo today. The chemo will be so strong that he will be out of work and unable to do anything while he goes through his treatments. That leaves my mom to still try and hold a full time job to take care of bills, while she also helps my father get better. It’s a lot for anyone to take on mentally and physically, and the medical bills will keep coming.

I decided to turn my Beauty Bar Grand Opening into a benefit for them. They need all the love and support they can get so they can solely focus on my father’s recovery.

It’s time to give back to them like they do for so many others. I invite all of you to come and check out my Beauty Bar at 6 Brussels street in Worcester, MA on Saturday, January 26 (tentative date). We will have gift baskets, t shirts, and sweatshirts for sale. I will also be revealing my new product line that I created, Lavender Lane Apothecary- all natural, holistic body care, essential oils, and beeswax candles.100% of all proceeds will go to my parents to help them in their time of need.

I hope you all can make it, and if not, please share the event with others to let them know to stop by. More details to come, and a formal invite will be sent out to all of you through Facebook.

I have set up this GoFundMe account in his name for those of you who are not local and want to help out. If you can't donate, no problem, please share this post with others to get the word out.

Thank you all ❤️
