We will hike 10 miles on Duluth's gorgeous lakewalk along the frozen Lake Superior on February 25, 2017. We will also be carrying a pack with 1 pound of weight for every $10 we raise. As a team we will be splitting the weight between all of us. The weight represents the weight that we carry in the battle against combat stress
by raising awareness and raising funds to improve veteran transitions to a civilian life.
23rd Veteran provides a long-term transition process for veterans leaving the military, and those who were never properly transitioned. Their efforts reduce veteran drug , alcohol, and medication abuse, and veteran, suicide, divorce , criminal rates. This will also grow the communities of 23rd Veterans by empowering veterans to apply their valuable intangible skill set in meaningful work and service.
Their mission is to empower veterans with PTSD to lead successful lives.

If you can't join us please help by sending a donation.
The statistics are 22 Veterans a day succumb to their personal demons, 110,000 since 9/11. We can, through your donation, help Veterans learn a new way to cope with stress and PTSD and give them the tools they need to thrive in their environments.
