New Mexico Women's March 2018

Last year, in 2017, we gathered over 10,000 strong New Mexicans to defend, protest, heal, strategize and mobilize in solidarity with the national Women’s March on Washington, in DC. Since then, our country has seen numerous attacks from the Trump administration that directly impact women all across the country. As New Mexicans we know how vital Women’s rights are to the entire community, and that when one member of our community is being threatened, the whole community is being threatened. This year we commit to carrying on the tradition of resistance by gathering thousands in Civic Plaza to speak, rally, defend, and empower a united community.  We reject this administration’s policies and attitudes that continually contribute to the violence, misogyny, poverty, and other inequalities launched at women, families, workers,communities and at our mother earth. The abuses and disparities they promote are not tolerated here.
