Send Us to Competition!

We are the Northern Michigan University Hip Hop Dance Crew, and we are beginning our very first season as a collegiate competitive team.  As dancers and students both, we are overcoming the near loss of and severe budgeting cuts to our dance program. We are a diverse group seeking to promote community and fitness through our love of dance, and want to test our dedication and extremely hard work on a larger stage. Our first goal is a competition in Minneapolis on January 14, 2017. We are seeking funds to pay for performance gear, entry fees, and travel expenses. We hope donations will help offset the strain on our dancers, who are all also students. We hope that our success will encourage our university to restore funding to the dance program.  Any support of us during any part of our journey would mean the world to us. To have others believe in our dreams allows us to pursue them.
