Nikki's Brain Surgeries

The name “moyamoya” means “puff of smoke” in Japanese and describes the look of the tangle of tiny vessels formed to compensate for the blockage. This is the reason I've had 5 strokes, with the last one leaving me with defecits on the left side of my body. This surgery will prevent further strokes. I will need to have 2 surgeries, one on each side before its all over. My first surgery will be next month and then about 3 months later I will have the second surgery. I will have to be off work 6 weeks after each surgery so that is why I am asking for help with the 20% of the hospital bill that I will have to pay along with my ordinary monthly bills. The photo I have included is the difference in blood flow from 5 years ago to about 6 months ago. This surgery will *fingers crossed* restore blood flow to each side of my brain.
