Born on the 8th of April 1979, in Batibo Cameroon, Dr. Teke Nicolyn Nyinmaah was a radiant, ambitious and at the same time a friendly person. She attended her primary in G.S Bamenda Station, secondary in P.S.S Mankon (PEMEXA) and high school in G.B.H.S and FONAB College Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon. Known and beloved for her calm and at the same time loving nature, Nikki (as she was fondly called) trod through varsity studies in Cameroon (University of Buea).
Her resilient nature and her life buoy led her to South Korea, where she pursued post- graduate and clinched her PhD in International Relations. Nikki was a selfless, ambitious and bubbly person, who became a lecturer in Global Studies at Namseoul University. Even when faced with adversity, Nikki’s tenacity was her trump card.
She was a devoted mum to Shim (5yrs) and Grace (3yrs), and quickly learned to sacrifice everything to make her kids happy. She leaves behind her kids, 4 siblings, her mum, other family members and friends to mourn her. The world has lost a devoted mother, an exceptional sibling and a formidable friend.
In the early hours of October 26th 2016, Nikki passed away suddenly from a Cardiac Arrest. Her body is currently being held at a hospital mortuary in South Korea. Her two little children are currently being looked after by a colleague. The family is in urgent need of funds as two family members need to travel to South Korea to take the kids and the body to Cameroon where Nikki will be finally laid to rest. Any help at this moment will be greatly appreciated.
