Nicole Walker's Homegoing

On December 7th our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend Nicole(Nikki) passed away in an unexpected tragic car accident. Being only 31 Nicole was survived by her five children (Le’mya 13, Adalyna 11, Aquila 9, Angel 6, and Elijah 5) her mother Maria, sister Jessica, brothers Edward, Jeremy, Derrick, and Alejandro. Our sister is many things a strong woman, caring, the light of any room, the one who always had a story to tell, and if you had the pleasure of knowing Nicole you can agree her caring and giving nature was endless. Despite the numerous hardships Nicole faced throughout her life, more recently losing the father of her children in 2017, Nicole still moved forward and tackled each day with all she had. Nicole could go anywhere and instantly lift up any room, her energy was always so BIG, and her humorous personality can make any and all of us laugh. She was the definition of “The life of the party.” Her love for music and dancing could make anyone want to get up and get down with her. Even just waking up dancing throughout the house with Jessica. Nicole was our excitement, she was our muscle, our heart. She was our tough wildfire.
She touched everyone’s path she came across in so many ways. From always trying to be the best mom she knew how to be, helping strangers with rides home, being a shoulder to cry on for anyone and most importantly her family, she was a giver and would give her last regardless of who you were, and always pouring comfort and love despite her own difficult journey she was conquering and overcame. She was truly an angel on earth. The laugh you needed to hear. The strength you needed. Our sister was so many things she had so much character it overpoured wherever she went. Nicole will forever be missed tremendously from her Mother, Brothers, Sister, Children, and nieces/ nephews.
Being a single mother of five and balancing work life unfortunately there were no finances saved nor invested for such an unexpected tragedy. Nicole loved her children and family deeply. Anything and everything graciously donated will be put straight toward funeral & burial arrangements with any funds left over we are planning to deposit into a trust for her five children who now do not have their mother.
