Nicole Fisher's fight to kick cancers ass!

Donation protected
Our beautiful Nicky is facing the scary battle of breast cancer. As of January 10th, she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, triple negative, grade 3, T2NO. Thankfully part of all that means there is no cancer in her lymph nodes. This is a very aggressive cancer and she will be starting chemotherapy the week of January 21st.

As a woman who wears many hats; mother, wife, daughter, friend and huge supporter of her community, you can imagine how vastly this will affect her financially and emotionally. She takes pride in everything she does and it shows.

Nicky leads a very busy life as a mother of two crazy cool kids, Leia (8), Rowan (7) and wife of Tommy. Anyone that knows Tommy can imagine that is her biggest task.

Blessed with the gift of artistry, Nicky has been able to give back to her community when budgets are shrinking and schools are losing art programs. She instructs many children’s classes in mixed media, teaching and encouraging creativity, expression and embracing individuality through art.

For the past year, Nicky has also been a huge part of her local Illinois Jaycees chapter. The Cary-Grove Jaycees has been blooming wildly with color, creativity and imagination thanks to her. She actively participates in meetings, program planning and a vital part of the JCI community, national and worldwide events.

As we all know, the financial burden of medical bills, deductibles, prescriptions and many tests will be heavy on Nicky and her family. Not to mention she will have to take a leave from work during her fight and healing process. Nicky as well as Tommy works hard and her loss of income will be felt immediately. Please consider helping Nicky and her family stay strong financially and emotionally. No donation too small or prayer unheard. Feel free to contact me, Sherrie Hurley, through email [email redacted] or [phone redacted] with any questions, ideas or if you would like to participate in other ways.

This woman has more heart, compassion and drive than most. For a change, all her stubbornness will shine brightly, and she WILL kick cancers ass!

XOXO THANK YOU ALL!
