My name is Nick Patchen, and I'm excited to share my faith with people around the world, and that all starts with Discipleship Training School at Youth with a Mission. I'm scheduled to attend their Fire and Frangrance school in January and then to go on a three-month mission trip at one of their many bases around the world. I hope that will just be the first stop in my journey with YWAM. But I can't do that without your help.
God willing, I will spend three months training to share the gospel with people all over the world, many of whom have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ, people who are poor, isolated, and enslaved to beliefs that can never bring them freedom.
My desire to do missions started when I was in seventh grade on a mission trip to Gage, Oklahoma. Since then, my life has gone up and down and side to side, and through that, God has always been there for me. Because I am so thankful and because I have been given an amazing gift, I want to share that gift with others who haven't experienced Christ's love first hand like I have.
