Nichole is a single mom struggling to save every penny that she can in order to keep her and her daughter with a roof over her head and food on the table, and she has a deadline just around the corner that she really needs help with!!!
By July 20th, she has to have $1000 for a court penalty or she will be sentenced.
Paying the civil penalty allows her to get her license back, and because she has to be to work before the city busses start running in the morning, she is in danger of losing her job if she doesn't get her license back soon. Up to this point, she has been relying on friends to get up at 5:30AM and take her to work, and drop her daughter off at daycare. Unfortunately, this is not reliable because of how early it is and it needs to be every day, Mon-Fri. She needs our help!
She makes just enough money to keep her daughter and herself in a temporary home provided by HACAP and fed, but has not had the extra money needed to save the $1000 for the court.
The courts have already granted her an extension and the July 20th date is the deadline they have set.
100% of your donation will go towards paying the civil penalty and even if she doesn't hit $1000, if she can get close, she may be able to get more time.
