Aid to Compete at Speech And Debate Nationals 2019

We're a small, student-led Speech and Debate team from North Hollywood Senior High, a public school in the San Fernando Valley. Our success depends on the support of our friends, family, and community. We are a severely underfunded program, as we receive virtually no funding from the school or district.
Despite our financial issues, we've continued our competitive success, sending teammates to state and national finals. This year, we’re sending four people to NSDA nationals in Dallas, Texas. We’re all eager to compete alongside some of the most passionate and talented students in the country, but the travel expenses are daunting.
Flying and staying for a week in Downtown Dallas is expectedly costly, so we’re asking for $1000 to help cover some of the expenses for plane tickets and the hotel. Anything helps, whether it be ten dollars, a couple of cents, or even sharing our page with others. We thank you in advance for your support.
