new work by Jasmine & Artists
Donation protected
New work, shook, by Jasmine Hearn made in collaboration with a Dream Team of artists will be shared OCTOBER 12-14, 2017 as a part of Danspace Project's shared evening with work by Jasmine Hearn and Mariana Valencia.
Our goal is to raise $11,000 by October 1.
To get us there, we need your SUPPORT.
Would you like to be a part of shook's Dream Team?
We invite you to make a donation to our fundraising campaign. Your contribution would go towards paying the artists, and also help with costumes, design, materials for scenic design, and other production costs.
We appreciate any amount. No donation is too big or too small. And if you are unable to donate, we would greatly appreciate you spreading the word.
Please consider supporting shook, a dance piece of three duets between black women, who traverse time, memory, and sensation.
With collaborating artists; Maria Bauman, Dominica Greene, Kayla Farrish, Catherine Kirk, Athena Kokoronis, Angie Pittman, Alisha B. Wormsley, and lead artist, Jasmine Hearn.
She shares "I am looking to evoke a realm, a place, a time, a memory when and where black women are not doubted".
