This is the official GoFundMe fundraising drive for the Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade . This is our grassroots effort to obtain public support for the March 13, 2016 Parade.

Please help by giving any dollar amount you can. All proceeds go to planning and producing Connecticut's largest single day spectator event.

Financial support for the Parade's continued success is made possible from individual donations like yours and corporate sponsorships. Various fundraising events are also scheduled throughout the year to assist in raising the estimated $120,000 annual budget.

History and information New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade established in 1842 on March 17th. Parades were held on and off since 1842 thru 1956. The "Modern Era" has been held continuously since 1956. The parade is organized by the Associated Irish Societies, Inc. a 501(c)3 charitable organization consisting of volunteer committee members from the four Greater New Haven Irish clubs.

The purpose of the organization is; To finance, organize, and coordinate a parade in honor of St. Patrick and in celebration of our Irish heritage-American heritage.
The Parade is organized and funded by individuals such as yourself as well as support from area corporations. The City of New Haven does not financially sponsor or organize the parade. However, it contributes each year in many other ways and we are grateful for their continued support.

Friends, we are less than one week till Parade Day. We need your support. This is it. The eleventh hour push. Parade Day is Sunday 3/13. Today is Leap Day. A bonus day to the calendar. This occurs every four years and adds one day to February. Why not take this day to do something special. Such as helping a charitable group or organization. There are many to choose from. We are one such group. Our volunteers and organization help the community throughout the year, including but not limited to parade day. Please help us reach our goal for the Parade and continue this tradition.
