New Albany Firefighters Bike Drive

The firefighters of New Albany Professional Firefighters Local #410 have been giving away toys at Christmas since the early 1950’s. The firefighters, under the leadership of Capt. David Sparks who is in his 40th year of heading the effort, take in bicycles and refurbish them as well as raise money to buy new bikes. Each year, these bicycles are distributed to families that can use a little help putting a smile on their children’s faces at Christmas. One hundred percent of the money we recieve will go to purchasing new bikes or parts to refurbish donated bikes. For every $35 raised, we can purchase another bike to be given to a child this Christmas. The Firefighters of Local #410 cannot thank you enough for your donation in helping as many children as possible have a great holiday season.
