Cityscape - New Music for Tuba

Hello!
My name is Logan Jungman, and I am an undergraduate tuba performance and music composition major studying at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. As my double major might suggest, I am interested in performing new music for the tuba, and with my senior recital coming right around the corner, I am looking to do a recital commissioning composers in writing new music for tuba with various ensembles.
My idea for "Cityscape" is that a city has a diverse population with people coming from different backgrounds of life. That's why I chose five composers who found themselves in Kansas City, but come from vastly different areas of life.
The commission fee is currently at $1,000 with each composer recieving $200 for their composition. Any extra money raised would be used to help pay any musicians used for their hard work and dedication to making my senior recital a success.
My senior recital is not until September, but I am wanting to have the money by June 19th, the day that when the final composition is due from the composers. This allows for enough time to find extra performers and have the music ready for the recital.
I will be so grateful for anyone's support, and I am so excited to bring new music into this world. Thank you all so much for taking your time and I look forward to keeping you updated on this incredible opportunity not only for myself, but also for local Kansas City composers!
