New Liver for Michael Sutton

I am in need of a Liver Transplant due to mine failing. 9 years ago in 2009, I found out that I had late term liver failure and Cirrhosis from a condition called N.A.S.H, a form of Cirrhosis not associated with alcohol or Drug abuse. I had never heard of it before. I was told back then that I would need a liver within 5 years, but it seemed as though things were looking up. I had started seeing a Liver Specialist at Duke and I followed her instruction and recommendations and things went well for a long time, so I thought that maybe I could live my life without a transplant but a year ago, my doctor said that things had gotten worse and that I would need to go to  Duke University Hospital to be tested and listed. They just called me today stating that there would be out of pocket expenses. That’s money I don’t have. My out of pocket, Medications, and lodging post transplant add up to a lot of money. I have been approved for the Transplant but Duke will not list me or do the surgery without the Out of Pocket expenses paid up front. It’s kind of like taking a child to the ice cream parlor for a cone and then saying, JUST KIDDING. That’s about how I felt. So to make my health of getting better and going back to work in the Cath Lab won’t happen until I raise the money. If everyone could give, that would help tremendously. Any amount is appreciated.
