New haven high girls wrestling send to nationals

Donation protected
I started wrestling in middle school and I was discouraged because I am a girl in an male dominated sport. I also was in football at the time, which helped me build muscle for  wrestling. I did not win a lot of matches during my middle school year and I would say its because I was wrestling guys. People would say,  "you are a girl, so you are not  meant to be good at a male sport." In the last five years, I have encountered a lot of obstacles, found many "leading women" role models that spurred me on, and overcome many naysayers. That is why  Today, I am asking for your help to go to nationals-- I need to raise $1,000. Read on to learn of the solid investment you are making in helping me out!

During this time I was inspired by the leading female roles in my life. In middle school I was enrolled in an architecture camp. It was through this camp built a park for the community. The park is settled on 5100  Gaywood drive, Fort Wayne Indiana. The head camp architect was a woman. This made me look at the leading role a woman can take.
All the while I still  kept trying  to wrestle once I became a freshman at New Haven high and on to my Sophomore year, only ever wrestling guys.  I began to get better in my wrestling ability and started winning my matches.
At that time I also joined Faith of Indiana. Faith of Indiana is a group where we create a family first agenda to speak with voters and encourage them that their voice matters.  I have sat in during many calling sessions and calling voters.  While doing this I found another leading female, Audrey. From her I learned that a women can have a role in politics. In each experience I have learned from women who have helped cultivate me into proud girl wrestler.
All of this lead into me finding the courage and skill to compete at regionals in Indianapolis, and with the help of my amazing coaches I won 1st place. I then headed for state with my school cheering me on.  Every step of the way my coaches at New Haven high school helped me, coached me into placing 1st at State.  A month later I received a letter for a National Invite.  And because of that I am seeking 1,000 dollars. This will help to cover half of my expenses to travel from small town Indiana to Virginia. Thank you for your support.
