New Hair for Amanda: Fight Cancer with Confidence!
Donation protected
Amanda Cavanaugh—a devoted young wife and mother of two small children—was recently diagnosed with an aggressive and fast-moving form of breast cancer. The shock and sadness she and her family felt deepened when she started losing her beautiful blonde hair during chemotherapy. She was heartbroken to see a face in the mirror she hardly recognized.
As if that wasn't enough bad news, she found out her insurance company won't cover any part of the cost of a wig. She is already exhausted, worried and fighting to stay positive. Learning she'd have to struggle through recovery in a bad wig or go entirely without hair was overwhelming.
That's where we come in!
Your donations will be used to purchase a realistic-looking wig to help Amanda feel like her beautiful self so she can focus on the battle ahead. Giving her a boost of confidence is just one small way we can help her achieve her goal of a healthy, cancer-free body!
