NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE is a community....a family...a portal of memories from our youth. We have supported each other through finals, weddings, funerals. Life's highest highs, life's lowest lows. How did the bonding begin? It began when we left the stress of our lives behind and "danced it off" at one of the (infamous?) parties on a Friday or Saturday night...BETA, SPD, LED. We bonded over music, dancing, and (maybe?) a beer (or more?)
Remember the Beaver Brown band at Pat's Peak? Remember Kendall's song mix at SPD parties? Remember Stu-Dog's famous Tent dance parties? Remember how fun it was to come together at Gin Gin to hear Michael Michaels last year? THIS IS NEC.
To maintain this momentum, we need a band. We need a location. We need transportation. We need a budget. Harriet Cooper and Stu-Dog Wright have estimated that $5000 is a great number to secure band, tent, transport next year. If we raise more than we need, we will carry over to next year's concert fund!
Once funds are raised, we will turn them over to a concert committee to secure talent according to funds available. Book your flight and hotel now for Alumni Weekend 2020. With your support, it will be epic!! Thank you for your anticipated support in making all future alumni weekends even better than past ones!
