New Cane Design

Hello,
I am 57 years old male. Since my childhood I had weak legs with balance issues (I had problems keeping me from falling backwards, ex. dancing or sports). Because of this concern, and later on to avoid falls, my doctor prescribed me canes/crutches.
Recently, I was made aware of a new design of canes/crutches that looked very promising in improving my mobility (see picture).
However, a pair of these crutches cost $499. My only income are Disability Benefits from the Social Security Administration in the amount of $1100 per month. SSA pays Medicare Health Insurance, but since this is a new design, they won't approve reimbursement. So, it is up to me come up with the funds for the canes.
If I don't have these crutches, I can still use the current ones getting slowly around, but the new design promises better maneuverability. I hope I count on your generosity.
