New Bars For Viva Gymnastics!

Viva gymnastics are trying to raise money and bring awareness to the benefits of sport to young people by trying to break and create some new world records - we are trying to raise money for a new set of gymnastic bars to allow our small club to compete with the larger well funded gymnastic clubs in the area. It was started by a local gym coach Charlotte Vella who gives up over 25 hours a week to the girls as well as working and raising her young son. This is a family gym where we all get involved getting the equipment out and putting it away , unlike many gyms who separate the children from the parents Charlotte knows the benefits on involving the parents and how much it can ease young children's nerves and fears to know mum and dad are right there.

Charlotte has set up a gym where every girl is supported and coached to their ability and never pushed beyond what they are comfortable with and she has created a environment where each girl is each others biggest cheerleader and biggest support. Whats most important here is that the girls develop new skills but most important they have fun doing it.

After our first competition its become obvious are current bars are not up to par if they extremely talented girls which to compete on more difficult levels so we would like to raise money to give them that chance. If we can provide the equipment they will do the work.

The girls have come on leaps and bounds from their previous clubs  all because of the fantastic supportive coaching and one to one attention they receive  but they have found that in order to compete against the larger clubs they will have to purchase a new set of bars and are hoping to raise money towards them.

We will being doing a sponsored hand stand with the girls and hopefully another parent / child floor routine but we really need as much help as possible as we are running out of time! 

The girls have backed cakes, done collected prizes,  bugged their parents and in some cases got their parents in leotards but we are still in need. The club is so important to every parent and every girl there.
