New Apartment Assistance for Willie Mack

On June 19th, our dear friend Jacob Kato was discovered to be deceased by his roommate, Willie Mack. This obviously was an extremely traumatic experience for Willie. Jacob's death was a huge shock to the whole community. 

Willie had been living with Jacob for 5 months as a subletter. Willie's name was never officially documented on the lease.  Willie paid his rent to Jacob in advance from his refund check upon move in. When Jacob passed, Willie was displaced from his home.
Since Jacob's death, Willie has been staying with friends without a permanent home. 
In September, Willie is looking to move into his own apartment, but costs of moving are quite expensive. 
If the community could come together and help us raise $1500 for Willie, that would help tremendously with offsetting the costs of his move. 
The apartment he is looking at has a security deposit of $600. The additional money requested would help him turn on his utilities, buy furniture, and to set up an emergency fund so he never has to be in this situation again. 
Anything you can give helps. Willie is a wonderful and kind human, and deserves to have a stable and safe place of his own, so he can heal from this trauma.
