Neuter/Spay Gander's Feral Cats!

This is a fundraiser that myself and Nancy Parsons have created in the hopes of dealing with the stray/feral cat group population here in Gander. As many people are aware, there is a huge stray/roaming cat problem in Gander - particularly with unspayed/un-neutered cats. Many of these cats have been born outside, and are therefore not socialized with people (feral). Our hope is to rescue as many as we can. By rescuing, we need this fundraiser to help us collect the funds necessary for spaying/neutering the cats, as well as getting their vaccinations completed. Feral cats at a certain age unfortunately cannot be adopted into homes, as they will never be happy living with humans. With food and shelter, the outdoors is their home. For this fundraiser, each cat for spaying/neutering alone will range between $200-$350. I am very concerned about this problem in the town. Even if the cats have food and shelter, without being spayed or neutered they will continue to reproduce and there will be more cats left to fend for themselves. We desperately need these funds to cover the costs of spaying/neutering these cats, as vet bills can be very expensive. Please donate!!!!
