Neuropathy Treatment Goal

Hello Imperial Beach, my name is Loretta Hottel, I am an IB Local, I am an 83 year old widow without any children. Many of you know me as Mrs. Claus. Every year I assist Santa with all the children at the pier. I am also Mrs. Santa Claus at the Fleet Reserve #289 Children`s Christmas party every year. I also help deliver food & gifts to several needy families through the Spring Valley Moose Lodge.

The reason why I am reaching out to the community is because I have Neuropathy in my legs & feet. It has become very painful & I am in need of treatment that I cannot afford on my limited income. 

The pain is now keeping me from volunteering in much needed community service which has been the joy of my life.

I have started successful treatment which has enabled me to have better balance, walking better & also drive. Since I have been taking their nutrition classes I feel much better physically & mentally with weight loss and much more energy. My balance has improved & the burning sensations and tingling has subsided tremendously.

I am only reaching out to our community because I do not know what else I can do. Without these treatments my illness will only get worse & I will no longer be able to do what I love the most in life - "Volunteer to our beautiful community."
