This is my story
I was found in a dumpster in Varadero Cuba
by Dra Gladis Corria Ochoa when i was a month old. I was covered in ticks and was in a very bad state of health.
Brayden and his Mommy came to The Refuge in July 2017.
During this visit i met my future family for the first time.
My Big Brother Brayden, is an autistic eight year old and we fell in love right away!
When i arrived to Canada I had a clean bill of heath from the veterinarian. How ever after sixteen months I broke my tooth playing with a toy.
My Mommy took me to the Doctor to see what they could do.
I had the broken tooth extracted and as they were cleaning my teeth they found a lump on my jaw plus three other diseased teeth. They contacted my mommy for permission to do a biopsy and x-rays.
The biopsy and x-rays revealed round cell neoplasm which they found is an active cancer.
I have started my chemo treatments and it is a 6 week duration i have 5 more weeks to go every Thursday please refer to schedule posted on Nemo's Fans and Supporters
