Nelson Easterling - Mobile Airport - Shoe Shine

Nelson has had a tough year. He lost his oldest son to a homicide in January and incurred unexpected funeral and burial costs. Then in early May, Nelson fell from atop a ladder while doing odd jobs to make ends meet during his slower late spring / summer months. His back is messed up, he's not been able to work since then, and the Drs say he won't be able to return to work until some time in July. 

This fund is to help pay some of his medical bills and help him with his living expenses until he's back at work. Please give generously to one of the City of Mobile's best ambassadors and a great friend to many of us. 

In November I wrote a commentary for Alabama Public Radio about Nelson that got him quite a bit of attention from those that know him. I tried to do him justice as best I could. Moving Up the Ladder
